SEX/NUDITY 8 - There are two extended sex scenes in which there is partial female frontal nudity, and full nudity of both male and female from behind. A woman discusses her sexual desires. Several scenes of passionate kissing and fondling. Implications of oral sex. Two women kiss briefly. Discussion of sadomasochism. Several other scenes where a woman is shown partially nude from front and rear.

VIOLENCE/GORE 8 - A woman is shown putting a gun in her mouth. A woman jumps out a window in a very tall building, and the camera lingers on her falling, and then is shown from the vantage point of the ground when she lands. The bloody aftermath is also shown. A man is stabbed 30 times and falls onto a shard of glass. We see and hear almost every blow, and see him covered with blood. Another man bleeds to death: we see him bound and hanging upside down. A rattle snake lunges at a man. There is a graphic description of the murders of a woman and young child. Discussion of a 12-year-old boy committing suicide. One character is shown with her very bloody hands nailed to a chair. A fight with a nail gun results in a couple of people being shot and pinned to walls. (It's all quite graphic).

LANGUAGE 8 - Nearly 50 F-words, as well as an assortment of scatological and anatomical terms, and harsh name calling.

DISCUSSION TOPICS - Suicide, mental disorders, psychotherapy.
