A man (Sam Claflin) is confined to a wheelchair after an accident and a spinal cord injury and appears inconsolable until a new aide (Emilia Clarke) enters his life and they fall in love. SEX/NUDITY 3 - A man and a woman are heard and then seen kissing and we see them lying in bed covered with a comforter (sex is implied); we see the man's bare chest and abdomen when he stands in a doorway. A man in bed asks a woman to stay with him; she climbs in the bed and they kiss tenderly. A man and a woman kiss. A husband kisses his wife on the head. A man and a woman sleep in bed together and we see his upper chest.
 Two women talk about what dress one of them should wear and one of them is seen wearing a dress that reveals cleavage and the upper portion of her bosom. A man is shown on a video wearing swim trunks that reveal his bare chest. A young woman's skirt tears and reveals half way up her stocking covered thigh. A woman jogs and grabs her chest seeming to be in pain, and then complains that she is wearing the wrong bra. A man showers and we see his chest and abdomen. A man removes another man's shirt as he administers care and we see his chest. Several women wear low-cut dresses that reveal cleavage, bare shoulders and backs in a few scenes.
 A woman sits on a man's lap in a wheelchair and they move around a dance floor; he tells her to move closer and they joke about her breasts being close to him. A man and a woman lie in bed together (fully clothed) and embrace.
 A man returns home where his mother confronts him and he says that he is old enough to stay in a hotel overnight if he wants to; his mother looks at a woman with him and seems to understand. A man tells another man and a woman that he is going to walk another woman home and the first two tease him (sex is implied).
 A man talks to a woman about what he would like to do to her, sexually (he offers no specifics). A man and a woman talk about the complications of being paralyzed and one complication is sex. A woman bites the tag off the back of a man's shirt collar and remarks that it is a lucky thing that it was not in his pants. A man and a woman tell another man that they are engaged (the woman is the second man's ex-girlfriend and the man is the second man's best friend). A woman remarks that another woman should consider wearing something less revealing for her new job. A man tells another man that his girlfriend "Certainly gives good bed baths." A woman tells another woman that she has been married 4 times "and counting."

VIOLENCE/GORE 2 - A man steps into a busy roadway while talking on his cell phone and into the path of a motorcycle (we then see the man in a wheelchair and we learn that he is paralyzed from the chest down).
 A man is seen in a hospital bed with IVs and an oxygen mask and we hear that he has pneumonia. A paralyzed man appears to have a fever and another man treats him by putting damp towels on his chest and having a fan blowing on him. A woman spills hot soup on a man's lap while feeding him (we do not see any injury). We see a scar on a man's wrist and we understand that he attempted suicide.
 A husband and his wife argue about their paralyzed son wanting to end his life. A woman is given an envelope by her boss and we understand that she is losing her job. A man in a wheelchair tells his mother that his brain is not paralyzed. A woman says of a man, "You can only help someone who actually wants to be helped."

LANGUAGE 2 - 6 sexual references, 2 scatological terms (1 mild), 4 anatomical terms, 4 mild obscenities, name-calling (stupid, monster, fearsome, snob, dodgy man, leprechaun drag queen, pretty waitress, impossible, selfish), 7 religious exclamations (e.g. Jesus, God Awful, Oh My God, Oh Dear God, Oh God).

SUBSTANCE USE - We see a cabinet filled with prescription medications and a man talks about some being for pain, others for blood pressure, muscle spasms and sleep aids (we don't see them being taken), and a man is shown with IVs in his arm and an oxygen mask on his face in a hospital scene. People are seen with wine in glasses at a meal (we do not see them drink), people are given cocktails at poolside and a man orders two for a woman, and people hold and drink glasses of champagne and other drinks at a wedding reception.

DISCUSSION TOPICS - Euthanasia, assisted suicide, unemployment, family, entrepreneurship, goals, adventure, accidents, spinal cord injuries, pity, love, potential, pity, regret, freedom, responsibility, missed opportunities.
