SEX/NUDITY 2 - A woman kisses a man on the cheek at a basketball game and we see it on the Jumbo Tron.
A woman wears figure-hugging blue jeans that emphasize hips and thighs. A few women wear scoop-neck tops that are tight and reveal a little cleavage. Several women wear schoolgirl outfits with crop tops that reveal a little cleavage, micro-mini skirts and high heels while they hang on men in a public square, flirt, and giggle at them; another woman walks by, ties her shirt up in front to reveal her bare midriff and some cleavage, steals a micro-mini skirt from the front of a shop, puts it on off-screen, before joining the other women to hang on a man and giggle.
A woman flirts with a man by giggling and smiling, and then says that she has a boyfriend. A man and a woman agree to go on a date. A mutant character asks a man and a woman, "Are you two like a thing?" and the man and the woman look blank.

VIOLENCE/GORE 5 - A ninja lands in another dimension and is confronted by an alien that is a fat pink brain with slimy long and short tentacles and pink slime dripping from its mouth; it lives connected to three metallic cables leading into the abdomen of a tall robot and it squeezes in and out of the robot several times and hits the ninja in the face with long tentacles, leaving slime over the man's face and shoulders. An alien that is a slimy brain gives a ninja leader a device that looks like a metal chicken leg with flayed bones.
An off-duty police officer dons a hockey mask and takes a hockey stick from his car trunk as ninjas surround a woman in an alley where hockey pucks slam into the their heads from off-screen, knocking them down; other ninjas attack the cop, who fights back and we see a few punches, kicks, rolls, and a body throw slams a ninja into a wall, and a Sai weapon is thrown into the scene and sticks in a pole. Ninjas jump over people and run through corridors in police headquarters, using sonic blasters to disable people, who groan and cover their ears as they drop until two humanoid turtles drop through the ceiling and two more humanoid turtles smash through the plate glass front windows and fight the ninjas briefly, but the ninjas escape before the police arrest the turtles (a man and woman intervene and let the turtles escape).
Four humanoid turtles parachute (one of them rides a jet-skateboard) out of a plane and land on an enemy's plane as one turtle smashes his face onto the windshield (his tongue slimes it); the turtles push screaming ninjas out of the plane as the turtles confront a rhino and warthog, who fire a machine gun inside the plane, cutting it in half and a turtle grabs the pilot's wheel, which comes off and the plane crash-glides into a river; a rhino and a warthog chase the turtles in the river rapids, shooting mortars that miss, until the tank sticks on a rock. Four humanoid turtles appear and police point guns at them, but lower weapons as the chief asks the turtles for help; police escort the turtles into a building where a ninja has a scientist dragged away and off-screen.
A robot extends large cutting weapons from its arms and a turtle cuts off one robot hand with a sword (sparks fly); a robot fires a huge cannon from its chest, emitting a loud boom and flames as the robot squeezes a humanoid turtle and another turtle spears the robot's head, short-circuiting it; the alien brain retracts into the robot's abdomen and shouts that he will be back. A man knocks down a ninja and when the ninja gets up, a woman hits him on the head with a heavy flat object. A rhino and a warthog chase a police officer through a garage on motorbikes, smashing several dozen vehicles; the rhino knocks down the man, who skates away with his hockey stick and the creatures ride into a cargo container and the man hits in a grenade and slams the door shut; from outside the container, we hear a muffled explosion and see a part of the container bend outward in an inverted dent and we hear the creatures laugh as one calls out, "My man!" (as if the explosion was a flatulent).
Motorcycle riding ninjas on a highway surround a prison van and its escorts, they place explosives on the vehicles and we hear loud explosions as we see smoke, light flashes and flames; cars crash into each other and flip several times seeming to propel into the audience as several race cars chase the van and ninjas climb onto it, using blow torches to cut into the top of the passenger section until four humanoid turtles in a garbage truck with fire shooting from its exhaust pipes chase the convoy and shoot manhole covers at the ninjas, doing little damage; the truck extends robotic arms that swing nunchucks until the arms break off on an overpass and a bomb on the underside of the truck explodes (it is only scorched); a humanoid turtle jumps onto a ninja biker, knocking him off the bike and off-screen and a guard in the van points his handgun at a ninja as a helicopter descends, the van stops and a thug stomps the officer in the face.
A distillation unit and its tubes in a lab fill with goop as a Bunsen burner flares high when two men play with it; a scientist shoots goop in darts into the men's necks and they fall, shake the lab like an earthquake as they transform into a humanoid rhino and warthog. A humanoid turtle drops a drop of goop onto his three-fingered hand and it briefly becomes a five-fingered, green human hand.
A giant robot rises from a platform and a slimy talking brain pops out of the robot belly and punches the ninja in the face with a tentacle three times, and then freezes the ninja with an ice shooting weapon and has him put into storage.
Armed ninjas materialize in a bar and the leader snaps out sharp blades from his arms, telling two patrons that they will become his errand boys; the camera cuts to the bar later where an off-duty police officer questions the bartender about the ninjas and when the officer becomes angry, and he breaks bottles of alcohol and empty glasses as the bartender shouts angrily. A man runs at a tall humanoid/rat, who sweeps him off his feet and laughs. A woman steals a vial from a lab and runs into traffic, dodging cars and taxis.
A ninja puts three devices together to form a glowing machine that generates a giant black hole in the sky that looks like an inverted tornado with clouds and lightning as a man laughs at it maniacally.
About 100 prison guards with rifles take aim as a prisoner with a long facial scar is shackled into a police van with two other chained men. A prisoner escapes from a police van through a blue-energy funnel vortex in the sky.
A rhino and a warthog charge fast into a sculpture in a museum and the metal knocks them down, glows, changes shape and dispenses a glowing orb that sends the two characters to Brazil where they appear in a tank and shoot mortars. A vortex appears in the sky outside police HQ as a crowd gathers and large pieces of rubble are pulled through the vortex, and they cut corners off buildings, then re-assemble to form a huge spheroid in the sky, causing rubble to hit empty cars smashing them. Drones under a spaceship in the sky crash into buildings, causing rubble to smash onto the hoods of police cars, which crash into barricades (no injuries) as humanoid turtles jump off a high roof and onto the spaceship and we hear creaking metal.
Four humanoid turtles heroes jump off a skyscraper, land on a ledge, jump again, diving through a manhole and pop up through another manhole; a pizza box hits one of the characters in the face in slow motion. Four humanoid turtles go over a huge waterfall, shouting (they are uninjured). Four humanoid turtles take pizza onto a catwalk at an arena and drop a slice on the basketball floor, causing players to fall and slide; another of the humanoid turtles uses a pea shooter to shoot spit wads at the back of the head of a man being interviewed on the basketball sidelines. A ninja scratches his arm blades across a metal desk in an office. A turtle smashes a vial of goop against a wall. A device that looks like a glowing rectangle is found. A man stands on a rolling office chair and almost falls off. A man pulls a cord on an electric wall clock out of the wall and ruins the plaster around the whole room. Four humanoid turtles argue, shout, and push one another angrily in several scenes. A corrections officer and a senior detective argue several times. A humanoid turtle driving a garbage truck hits his head on the roof of the vehicle four times (he's uninjured).
A mutant shouts "big-[anatomical term deleted]" and sticks his buttock cleavage seemingly toward the audience. A police chief arrests a man and a woman and locks them in a room after an argument. A man says that a man in prison is guilty of 32 counts of first degree murder.
Humanoid turtles train by swinging swords and lifting weights in a sewer cave as they complain that humans look at them with fear and hate, even though they are heroes.
Mutant creatures with fat bellies are seen with their bellies shaking inside their open shirts and they flatulate loudly three times in different scenes and call out, "My man!" A rhino and a warthog stuff their faces into oil barrels filled with sloppy spaghetti as they snort and slurp noodles into their mouths and cover their faces and upper chests with sauce. CAVEATS

Be aware that while we do our best to avoid spoilers it is impossible to disguise all details and some may reveal crucial plot elements.

We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and older reviews are not as complete & accurate as recent ones; we plan to revisit and correct older reviews as resources and time permits.

Our ratings and reviews are based on the theatrically-released versions of films; on video there are often Unrated, Special, Director's Cut or Extended versions, (usually accurately labelled but sometimes mislabeled) released that contain additional content, which we did not review.
