SEX/NUDITY 6 - A Santa stripper removes his shorts to reveal tight spandex briefs with a bulging groin and he performs a lap dance for a woman who is carried to a throne on top of the stage area, and he thrusts his groin several times into her face; the woman's fiancé is also dressed as a stripper and he charges forward and starts a fistfight (please see the Violence/Gore category for more details). Exotic dancers dance, shimmy and writhe around poles while wearing thong bikini bottoms and women at a pool show full bare buttocks, abdomens and wear narrow bra tops that reveal significant cleavage. A female stripper wearing a corset, fishnet stockings and heels slides on her stomach on a bar and tells a man in front of her that he is fine; she rises and we see parts of her body in close-up as she dances in costume (we see her behind and large-breasted cleavage). A man in a hotel stares at a female concierge's clothed buttocks. A woman walks away from the camera, wiggling her clothed behind. A woman wearing a bikini sits on a chaise lounge, asks a man to put lotion on her back, drops her top (we see her bare back), he refuses because he has a girlfriend, she replaces her top, says that she has a boyfriend and walks away. A woman lies on a leather couch in a bar, exposing her thighs and lower legs. A man and a woman are shown on a bed and we see their bare shoulders and arms; the woman stands up to reveal a low-cut slip showing cleavage and most of her thighs while the man is shirtless. A professional stripper oils up his chest. A dozen male strippers and half dozen amateur strippers are shown shirtless or wearing leather cross-straps along their chest; they dance for a short time and perform pelvic thrusts at women around a bar. A man wears an open long-sleeved shirt, briefs with bulging groin and socks as he dances and slides on a floor; an older woman walks in and tells him there is nothing attractive about his body and that she has seen larger (genitals). A woman wears a net tunic over a bikini that reveals cleavage, full thighs and full legs; women friends come in and handcuff her to a male party doll wearing a string bikini bottom over a bulging groin. Hundreds of women wearing skimpy bikinis are seen in a long shot and a scene of women exotic dancers in a club. Two topless women, seen from the back, walk away from the camera or jump into a pool. We see old black and white footage of Las Vegas containing scenes of a belly dancer undulating with a bare midriff as well as of chorus girls dancing while wearing skimpy outfits that include shorts and sleeveless tops that reveal cleavage; the camera cuts to 2014 Las Vegas with chorus girls wearing sequined panties and low-cut tops with significant cleavage exposed, fishnet stockings and heavy makeup. Dozens of women wear low-cut tank tops and/or low-cut mini-dresses or short shorts that reveal cleavage and most of their thighs and legs. Several women wear tight-fitting knit or leather dresses that reveal cleavage as well as most of the thighs. Many men walk around a hotel shirtless and stand by the hotel pool, shirtless and wearing shorts. Very large nude female statues with their backs to the camera show full back nudity in marble.
A man begins to remove his fiancées blouse and his mother walks in from her adjoining hotel room, ending the scene. A man and a woman kiss and when a friend in the doorway says, "Get a room!" the woman says, "We're in it" and the man at the door says, "He's killing that" (i.e. having sex often). In a brief scene, a middle-aged couple lies in bed, wearing long hotel robes and sex is implied to have happened the night before; she says only, "Lord, have mercy!" and the evening before she said that she refuses flings, affairs and one-night stands, suggesting that this will be a permanent relationship. A husband and his wife fall onto a bed, choose role-playing names for sex characters, and the camera cuts away (sex is implied). A clothed man and a woman kiss on a bed and when she says that she is pregnant, they both cry in joy.
Several couples kiss briefly in half a dozen scenes. A man and a woman kiss for a prolonged time in the back seat of a car. A man kisses a woman hello.
Speaking with friends, a husband says that his wife gave him a bonus allowance as she begins to kneel, suggesting oral sex. A husband says that his wife is a drill sergeant about his sex life, scheduled in order for them to conceive after trying for nine years; one night she says she wants three shots (of semen) and he says he cannot do it. A woman says to female friends, "He didn't do me" (did not have sex with her). Female friends dance on a bar top, lip-synching to a song with the lyrics "Me and the krewe used to do her" while men around them cheer. A male friend runs into a couple at a hotel and loudly exclaims about the other man's past sexual exploits, causing an argument between the couple. A man accuses two other men of having menstrual periods and they board a party van and see that the side of it is painted with the torsos of three men as one man says, "This is a women's van." A groomsman asks the groom if he waxed his fiancée's vagina and receives no reply. A man tells his friend who is entering a strip contest to "shake your black [anatomical term deleted]." A man says marriage is bad and that men should keep their women in check. A man says married couples have a sexless life while he does a thumb-up to thumb-down movement, indicating a dying erection. A woman tells her bridesmaids that they are whores if they drink and dance, fake orgasms and drink shots off a stranger's abdomen and a younger woman whispers a sexual remark.
A man exits a washroom and we hear flushing sounds as he pushes one side of his shirt more deeply into his waistband.

VIOLENCE/GORE 3 - An extended strip-club fight scene (please see the Sex/Nudity category for more details) starts as a woman shouts, "Bar Fight!" and involves men and women punching, kicking, choking, slamming people against walls, jumping on each other's backs, hitting people over the head with empty bottles and a caveman's club, and falling; we see no bloodshed or injuries, only some dirty faces and tousled hair when 10 people have mug shots taken and are separated into the men's and women's holding cell cages and one woman says, "I am not prepared to be somebody's [sexual reference deleted]" (lesbian lover and errand person); two women arm wrestle while two other women fall asleep, hugging and in the men's cage a short man who is shouting is attacked by a huge heavy set man with colorful tattoos covering his upper chest and arms, but the bigger man stops and walks away. A large bodyguard puts an arm lock on a smaller man, who winces and shouts in pain.
Throughout the film, adults argue loudly with one another: Four heterosexual couples argue about money, jobs, children, what a threesome is (sex), how often to have sex, fear of marriage, in-laws, lying, and other things. A woman and her mother-in-law argue and the older woman demands that the younger woman leave her son forever. A woman on a phone tells her husband twice that she will kill him; he hears another man speaking in the background of the call and says he will hit the light-skinned man and make a bruise show. A man, his fiancée, and his mother have a three-way argument and all cry when it is over. A dozen people are released from jail and rush to a wedding site while shouting and when they realize that they are too late, the bride sits on a staircase and cries.
Throughout the film, a man loses his temper, curses, belittles his friends and yells at his wife on his phone, in order to meet his extravagant goals as best man in a wedding. A man shouts that he and his wife separated 15 times, the last time because she urinated on his iPad.

CAVEATS

Be aware that while we do our best to avoid spoilers it is impossible to disguise all details and some may reveal crucial plot elements.

We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and older reviews are not as complete & accurate as recent ones; we plan to revisit and correct older reviews as resources and time permits.

Our ratings and reviews are based on the theatrically-released versions of films; on video there are often Unrated, Special, Director's Cut or Extended versions, (usually accurately labelled but sometimes mislabeled) released that contain additional content, which we did not review.
